DJ Beezz aka Malcolm Brown is a Columbus, Ohio native. Malcolm has always
had a creative side. In his younger days he was popular in the local acting
scene doing commercials and print campaigns. His love for music started in
high school when his mother gifted him with is first Numark NS7 DJ Board and
MPK 25 keyboard controller. He started his DJ career and has not looked back
since. Malcolm’s first big break came when he opened for Travis Porter at a
local teen event.
In college he took this a step further by interning at a local underground radio
station as a radio host/producer. As an intern he gained knowledge of studio,
live broadcasts, and digital production. He produced and managed segments
such as “The Sleaze” Hip Hop Gossip, The Cook Up, I Wish You Would, Got
Dirt, What’s Hot, and Album Review.
Malcolm also became the official DJ for the Men’s and Women’s Basketball
team at Ohio University. His love for “bringing music to the people” has
enabled him to create events such as Beezey Fest, Emcee and open for Sean
Kingston, was the head DJ for the 2022 Classic for Columbus Allstar basketball game ,
The Number Fest –Silent Disco, open for The Back 2 School Fest with DaBaby, and DJ Envy for
Central State Homecoming just to name a few.
